Question #1, From Gary in Indiana: I have noticed recently on my principals invoices from my generator vendor there is a “trip charge” of 175.00. Is this normal?
Answer: NO!!!! They would like for you to believe its normal and if you ask them they will tell you it’s industry wide procedure. I can tell you it’s my experience that I have fired vendors over this practice before stating, ” it’s not my principals’ responsibility to pay for the fact that you live in Pacoima and want to work in Brentwood. Ask vendors up front and let them know your not going to pay “trip charges.”Many will try to convince you that it is customary. I am here to happily inform you… It is not.
